An international group of practitioners and scholars will convene to assess the state of research and practice relating to personal digital archives. An invited set of leaders in this field -- from Australia, Austria, the United Kingdom and United States -- will share strategies for and experience with the selection, acquisition, arrangement, description, preservation, and access to personal materials in digital form. The meeting will also focus on current needs and future directions for development in this area, with the ultimate goal of creating a shared agenda for future research and development.
