To Run one of the PanZoom experiment interaction techniques Save the image file 079909.gif to a local directory (for instance My Documents). You can save (or run directly off the web) any of the JAVA programs for the different interactions. For instance try the Pointer technique (Pointer-ImageViewer.jar) once it's started then enter "1" and "1" for experiment and observer then click on Menu click on the "File" option then select "Open Image File" then browse to the the directory where you put the 079909.gif file. It takes about 20-30 seconds to load. It's ready when the image comes up; you can start interacting then. Once you've located the target, hit space bar to select target when you think you've found it. You need Java 2.0 or later, and preferably a computer with 1Gbyte memory and a reasonably fast (as of 2004) processor. 2005-08-18 Brad Hemminger
