General Notes for Table II-13 Data

                When reviewing the data provided in the II-13 tables, the following comments provided by individual schools should be considered:

 

Alberta

If not a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident, a student is assessed a differential fee calculated as an additional 100% of all instruction fees assessed.

California – Los Angeles

Per year.  no different between doctoral (6.6 years) and Master’s fees.

Illinois

Per credit information was provided as the cost for 1 unit of credit., which is the equivalent of 4 semester hours.  The Universit of Illinois charges tuition in ranges of credit, so it is not possible to figure cost for the equivalent of one semester hour.

North Texas

Did not report any data.

Rutgers

Figures for full degrees do not take yearly raises in tuition into consideration.  These are not calculated until July of each year.  An approximate percentage of 4.5 may be used.

Southern Connecticut

Reported On-ground and online values separately for full degree.  Values used in these tables represent the on-ground values.  Part-time only values also differ.  Values used in these tables were for full-time students.

Toronto

In-state means domestic students and out-of-state means international students.

Washington

There is a 2-credit minimum tuition charge.  The one credit tuition reported in this section is the original data submitted by Washington divided by two.



Western Ontario

A different fee is not assessed to Canadian students who are from outside of Ontario. The Out-of-State/Province values reflect the fees assessed to non-Canadians or students who do not have “landed” status.

Wisconsin – Madison

There is a Minnesota reciprocity tuition agreement which allows Minnesota residents to pay only slightly more than In-state/province tution.  For one credit graduate cost is $400, Undergraduate cost is $225.
