General Notes for Table II-12 Data

When reviewing the data provided in the II-12 tables, the following comments provided by individual schools should be considered:

Arizona	Students who work as Graduate Assistants and are not residents of Arizona also receive a waiver for the out-of-state tuition. Dollar amount varies on the number of credits taken. Shown amount is stipend amount only, which is equal for all students.
Dalhousie	Information not available for undergraduate students.
Indiana	Defines “assistantships” as fee scholarship packages with hourly position wages; “GA” or “TA” positions; doctoral research assistantships; IUPUI awards; and “Gates” students. Figures are for the complete award for one calendar year.
Michigan	Includes value of stipend, tuition waiver, health insurance and registration fees.
Queens	Like all CUNY units with the exception of the Graduate Center, does not offer Assistantships to students.
