When reviewing the data provided in the II-6 tables,
it should be noted that a number of schools that indicated they have enrollment
at a program level did not submit any data for international students for that
program. In preparing the tables an
assumption has been made that there were no international students in that
program and thus a “0” has been entered in the appropriate table cells. It is possible that some schools do have
international students but their records do not allow them to identify which
students are international. This is
particularly true for the program levels “Other Graduate” and “Other
Undergraduate.” If this is the case,
the assumption made for that school is incorrect and the correct entry should
have been”-----.” This incorrect
assumption could have a bearing on Total and Mean values.
