I take teaching very seriously and have enjoyed my teaching experiences a great deal. I believe that you never learn about a topic so thoroughly as you do when you prepare to teach it!
I taught INLS 256 (Introduction to Database Concepts and Applications) for five consecutive semesters from Fall 1999 - Fall 2001. Here is the syllabus for the Spring 2001 semester.
In addition to teaching Database I, I have tutored a student in INLS 156 (Introduction to Database Concepts and Applications) in the Spring 2005 semester and given guest lectures in INLS 162 (Systems Analysis), INLS 172 (Information Retrieval), INLS 180 (Human Information Interactions), INLS 252 (Metadata Architectures and Applications), and INLS 256.
